• Sending All My Love...

With Valentines day right around the corner, I decided to go the shaker card route! It also gave me a chance to use my clear heart shape glass drop and do I love it!

A bit of shine.. a lot of sparkle!

Along with the clear elements, I wanted to add a bit of color in the otherwise (almost) monochromatic theme of my card. So of course, sequins! I have always loved the whimsy that I have felt every time I see sequins. I added an assortment of colors along with iridescent heart shaped elements.

Its All In The Details...

The finished card measures at 4.5" x 6", with a slight elevation in height to accommodate the shaker elements. I used a layered butterfly stamp and added a sentiment. The clear crystal drops add additional elements to the rest of the card without taking the focus away from the sequins.

When More Is More..

So admittedly, I could have added a few more sequins to my card (not my usual problem, LOL!). To add a bit more interest to the card, the top white layer can be embossed and the sequins can be added around the design.
